Mort Chatterjee says: "Our friend Aziz Kachwala was a fine designer and a fine man. He was taken from us too early at the beginning of this year. We had the good fortune of working with him on a number of projects. The last of these was a retrospective by the late Riten Mozumdar. Aziz devised brilliant design solutions for the presentation of a diverse array of objects. Riten would have been delighted, I am sure. Less than a week after installing the show, Aziz was gone. He was a thorough gentleman; he had a quiet demeanour and always chose his words with care. He leaves behind a large number of us who believe he was the one of the greats, and for that reason he is My2020Hero.
