Paramita says: "As a single woman and performing artist in her 40s living with 3 cats in an upmarket apartment in Kolkata, my household help Soma, who comes twice a day to cook, clean and take care of all of us is my greatest friend, confidante and caregiver. Knowing that I hate cooking, she would cook for a week and drop the food in carefully packed carriers outside my apartment gate through all the months she was not allowed inside during lockdown! She is second mamma to my cats who won't eat until she feeds them. Our lives are incomplete and almost impossible without her warmth, care and unconditional love!
