Debsuddha says: "Utpal Das is a young inhabitant from Ghoramara Island, one of the most rapidly shrinking islands in the Sundarban delta of India. During the pandemic, Utpal has taken the responsibility to continue the education of the children from the island by providing them free tuition classes two times on a regular basis. This helps children continue their education, as the pandemic has circumstancially forced schools to close and eventually turn to online schooling, for which a continuous electricity supply, a good internet connection and a smartphone are required. Living in a remote location where electricity has not reached yet and being financially deprived, this is beyond their limit. People like Utpal have taken the responsibility of those children coping with the issues inflicted by the pandemic.
