While everyone was concerned about their own survival, farmers kept the wheel of agriculture moving amidst great crisis. It was not easy. Police have been brutal, being in lockdown meant no easy supply of seeds or fertilisers, and moreover, 2020 saw two devastating storms as well as heavy floods. Our country still did not face too much trouble feeding its citizens. The reason for this is the hardwork of the farmers. Had they not kept their work going, the economy would have collapsed and we would have had to face great uncertainty in the future.
